Hi,
just wanted to know if the flight fight freeze response is a part of the nervous system or stress section of the study design? like im confused bc the flight fight response info is in the stress chapter of my textbook but i thought u learn about flight fight freeze response in nervous system..
Mod edit: Edited unnecessary full capslock title.
It is somewhat part of both parts, however, in the study design, it is listed specifically under the 'stress' section.
"models of stress as a biological process, with reference to Selye’s General Adaptation Syndrome of alarm reaction (shock/counter shock), resistance and exhaustion, including the ‘fight-flight-freeze’ response and the role of cortisol"
You are correct in saying that it is connected to the nervous system section as it is activated by the sympathetic nervous system. Connecting these two sections definitely makes it easier to remember information
