Hi everyone,

I just need some help in breaking down this syllabus dot point,
"Explain how Darwin/Wallace’s theory of evolution by natural selection and isolation accounts for divergent evolution and convergent evolution."
Thank you :)

Hi!

So the way I tackled this dot-point was by first defining the two different types of evolution, namely divergent and convergent. Then, I included a "step-by-step" method of natural selection (i.e. what happens when there is a change in the environment, and linked this to variation found in species).

Then, I addressed each type of evolution and explained how natural selection/isolation related to both.

Hope this helps! If you're still not sure, feel free to ask :)
Life is weird and crazy as heck but what can you do?
