They don't really merge as physics don't require any complex mathematics.

Only thing that comes to my mind is Kinematics. In specialist maths there are questions where you apply the kinematics equations.

However, most of the time the acceleration in the questions arent constant. Ie. You cannot use kinematics equations. So you mostly rely on differential equations/integrations.

Certainly kinematics is going to be the main cross-over, possibly a tiny bit of trig...
