Tips on time management?

Hi,

Does anyone have any tips on time management during sacs or exams for drawing diagrams, etc? I work through the calculations quite fast, but then I take along time to draw box plots, residuals, time series, bar chart, histograms, etc.

^ my teacher is quite pedantic on accuracy when drawing

Hi PopcornTime!

In most SACs and exams, not just maths, the main tip that's helped me is taking the time you have and divvying it up per section according to marks and how far you think you'll get. For example; Multiple choice questions could be about 40 seconds - 1 minute each, short answer three minutes per question and extended response 5, or something like that, depending on the time and the amount of questions on the test. Drawing plots can be quite time-consuming, but I doubt there would be more than two or three plots to draw in a single SAC or exam, max.
You know your pace more than I do, so why not try practice SACs with this method and see how you go? :)

edit: oh cool beans, guess whose 100th post this is?? *dabs without shame*

Thoughts are only thoughts.
They are not you. You do belong to yourself,
even when your thoughts don't.

I too struggle with this.

Don't know what we can do when they're intentionally designed this way.

Just rewards those who can think fast and or write fast.

If it's an essay I can do it but when it's al problem question I will second guess myself to oblivion
