thisongaintgottaname:
congratz everyone :)
lol i was asked once, "how do you think about Australia?"
mind went blank so i started talking about the weather...
and another one: "apart from Guilin's (went for holiday once) landscape what else 让你记忆深刻?"
was sweating internally (=_=;), answered "their vegies taste nice, my parents and I couldn't stop eating the vegies over there so yumm.." they were exchanging looks but oh wellz ended up with 18/20 >.> to be honest if i could rewind the clock i would say something else.
Minnie:
Just wondering, i'm SL are the examiners allowed to ask me SLA questions for SLA? i always get the most difficult questions, can anyone give some suggestions to how i should answer: "what qualifications do you think you need to become a doctor?" isn't that a super SLA question? T_T

Well I don't think examiners would ask that question out of the blue, either you mentioned you want to become a doctor or something related to doctors which led them to ask you that question. If you are not prepared to answer everything that you've prepared to talk about, then don't mention it at all.
Otherwise the best idea is just to brainstorm as many questions as possible that examiners could ask you about and prepare answers for each, that's essentially what I did.

Definitely recommended. I remember both my Chinese school teacher and day school teacher giving me a list of "highly probable" questions for SL. If you answer the questions fully, commit the answers to memory and also (most importantly) add in some extra questions that you think the assessors will ask because of the answers you give, then I'd say you're pretty much set for the oral exams.
For example, back then, one of my future aspirations was to be an aerospace engineer. I thought that the assessors will ask, "Why do I want to be an aerospace engineer?" and "What are the pros and cons of being an aerospace engineer?" So I prepared for those questions and thankfully, I reaped the rewards. :)
