lol ummm it was easier than i imagined it to be.
many pplz from my skkool did stuff it though.
it was funny at first cos when i first walked in... my assessor turned out to be my chinese teacher. I was thinking EYY A+ coming my way!
But DAMN my teacher had to walk out and get another guy to come in and test me.

The questions were quite easy even though half da questions asked were unexpected ones.

The guy infront of me kept writing notes on his piece of paper and the lady next to him wrote nothing. Is that a gd thing or bad thing?

They asked mostly questions related to family and school... then like one question each for the remaining categories.

It didnt feel like an exam... it went by so fast and it wasn't dat nerve racking! I was so relieved after I came out!

Really glad it is FINALLY over!!! :):):):):)

Yeap, one of them normally takes down the notes etc and the other one normally asks the questions, that's normal.

You get it on results day like everyone else, you won't know the exact marks you got unless you get SoM. The oral + exam are added together to give you a grade.

congrats on doing, from what i gather was a fairly good job! btw how did your other classmates "stuff it" - was it a misinterpretation of questions, getting questions that were unexpected, etc?

They can't really speak Mandarin fluently cos they speak eng and other chinese dialects at home. This gave them grammer and pronounciation issues.
But the main reason was cos they were unprepared... they didnt really prepare answers for the obvious gen convo questions and detailed study. If they ended up remembering answers then i guess they would've done a better job!

They also said da questions were really random for gen convo. Detailed study... they didnt answer da questions properly and there would be some misinterpretation.

Oh and they accidently said english - like "sorry". :P

What was ur answer? eg:i like doing this, i do these subjects in school, in the future I plan to go to uni blah blah? Did they "follow up" with a question based on your answer? Did this always happen or would it be like you talk about school and then they suddenly ask you about another topic?

Normally the examiners would probably follow you but sometimes they would purposefully ask you a question that is totally unrelated just to test your skills.
