i wish VCAA came by my school for this semester's folio.. they bumped up my grade for last semester xD
i began liking them after that LOLOL

LMAO, is tehre such thing as ANSWERS for vis comm? LMAO, its 60% drawing, and the first few questions were posted on page 1 of this trhead, well me and some1 else had same ones, so we assume we are correct LOL

Did any1 else HATE that music concert poster? It was so ugly, and you could not even TELL its for a concert.....zzz i ddint know till i read the caption,

Um, was "contrast" an OKAY thing to use....it was prominent sorta, because tension between white/yellow and black

Um, well overall like i said

2007- hardest of the last 6 years
2008- easy
2009= easiest

Question 1= like the 2007 exam i think it was, they gave you 6 images, and u had to number them 1,2,3,4,5,6 of whether they are orthogonal, perspective etc 6 marks

question 2= 4 images, which were SHADED and TONED and a light source....u had to circle TWO which sued correct tone in relation to the light source.

question 3 =(scary how I have everything memeroised!!!)   there was a weird object 3D.....you simply had to make it orthogonal, A LOT of emphaises on hidden lines and the Ortohngal logo thing on top (comapred to past years)

A number of question = theory.....about a guy who was creating X-mas cards, had to name reosurces he sued, how he worked with "printers" and "Graphic designers".....an analysis of a music concert poster, name an elemnt, its effect etc, same as past years.......1 double sided page worth of these theory questions


last question- they gave u an outline of a TICKET for a Ferris wheel aka a rip off of the Melbourne Observation wheel, u simply had to use COLOUR (YAY, i hate when they say u can only sue 1 colour), cropping (easy, I simply zoomed in a ferris wheel soo much that it was cropped), and had to use pattern.


DONE!!!!

Yeah, it does sound easy. Perhaps min A+ will be 85ish%

The poster was completely fugly!
I just described hierarchy coz the design was that shit that it didn't have much to write on

not at all.. and heads up, i got statement of marks, and there wasnt much different for grade distributions. Infact somehow when i roughly calculated it, they considered it to be just as hard if not harder than last years :S... anyways i got fked over, VCAA came in to my school for semester 2.. got taught the wrong thing for the whole semester.. From a 39/40 (A+) to a (B).. ahwell hope the rest of ya's did well..
