CAS calculator shuts down after Median Smoothing

Everytime I do median smoothing, my CAS crashes. I've noticed this only happens whenever one of the sets of boxes that I programmed it to smooth doesn't have a value. How do I fix this?

Do you use the NSpire or the CASIO? What function are you using to do the median smoothing, and if it's a 'User-defined' function, can you send an image of the code and a description of what you enter into the CAS?

I use T-NSpire. Basically on 'Lists & Spreadsheet', I use the "=median(b1:b3)" function, copy that and shift-paste it, only to find that it'll crash if there happens to be no value for it to smooth. I don't think I use User-defined functions.

That sucks. My CAS rebooted in my further 1 exam, which was a tinspire - so I think that it's just generally a ti issue that it reboots occasionally. But I'd say it's most likely a software issue, so update the software on your CAS if you can to the latest version using TI Computer Link, as this issue may be fixed with newer software.

Along with that, have you tried pressing the reset button on the back of the cas or taking out the battery and putting it back in, I also suggest checking out purchasing a new battery as well.
