What's the best music composition software?

Hi,

I'm using MuseScore, and the sound quality is okay-poor. I can't afford Sibelius. HSC markers want the audio of my composition, so I don't want to record it from a software that sounds crappy.

Any help would be great! :)

Hey!

I used Sibelius 7 for my compositions and the sound was excellent (short of live recording, obviously). They do have a student version which is cheaper, that's what I grabbed. Alternatively, I would do your score in MuseWorks until it is finalised, then use the 30-Day Free Trial of Sibelius 7 to produce the audio.

Here's the demo!
