Sharing ideas

Hey!
So I do year Drama as a subject and this year I have my major work for the subject which involves a lot of independent work, however my teacher loves sharing ideas around the class. I probably shouldn't be worried about it all although generally when this happens everyone just takes ideas from each other. I know that you're supposed to work together but I would like my individual project to be different to everyone else's. Any ideas of what to do or how to avoid sharing all my ideas?
Thanks :)

Hey! I get you, sharing your ideas may definitely seem a bit risky. HOWEVER if you are sharing ideas around the class, ie. in front of everyone + the teacher, this often acts as a form of collective security :) If someone where to steal your idea, it becomes super obvious, as everyone will already associate it with you! If your teacher knows that it was your idea, then even better as they can penalise the other student for plagiarism.

If it is still really a problem for you, let your teacher know that you don't feel comfortable with it, but I think for the most part you'll be fine :)
