Can't Think of the word for this!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!! :))

So I'm currently writing my design brief for my visual communication SAT Folio and i can't think of this word:
I'm designing a 60s style music festival but so I can make it seem more legitimate, I would like to use artists from that time period. Although, now some of these artists have passed away, so I wouldn't be able to include them. So to solve this issue, I decided that it would be best to pretend I'm in the 60s designing for a upcoming music festival.
Anyway I'm pretty sure there's like a word or phrase to describe this but can't think of it. If anyone has any clue what I'm on about, please feel free to either comment or message me!!
