I need help urgently with Language Analysis

Hi there, recently my school gave me a practice language analysis for an article. Even though I’m in year 10, they expected me to write at a year 11 VCE level, and their justification was that the article was a year 11 one. The link to the article is here: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/opinion/susie-obrien/dont-let-any-more-babies-die-because-of-antivaccination-lobby/news-story/cda25fd65da4cf9e8929ecba6ee4dbc8
I’m really struggling to find the contention of this article, as it seems very broad. The contention I’ve got right now is “the author is contending that the anti-vaccination activists are putting others at risk with their decisions related to vaccination”. I’m not sure if the contention is even right, and to top it all off, im struggling to find arguments as well for this contention. I have only got two so far, and they seem a bit weak: “the author argues that anti-vaccination activists’ actions have no basis” with my second argument being this: “the author argues that people not vaccinating is dangerous for others”. I really need feedback on whether my arguments and contention are a bit far fetched or not realated to the contention/article, and I also want help with formulation of a third argument. I know I’m asking a lot but I really need help...
