G'day guys.
I stumbled upon this movie a month ago and initially I was having a bit of trouble following the course of events in the AOS2 but after watching it things became a lot clearer. The called 'La Révolution française' was made in France 1989 and it consists of two parts, each 2.5 hours long. Now that sounds like a lot but I managed to find half an hour every now and then and I managed to finish the movie in about three weeks. Even better was that after taking notes in class that day, I could go home and 'watch' the event I was note taking. It gave me a clearer understanding and the acting and cinematography was brilliant, especially the last scene where

Robespierre is executed

The movie is in French but subtitles on YT make it quite easy to follow, it's similar to Sophie Scholl in that sense.
Anyway, here's the link:
Part 1: Starts with the Estates General, Ends with Louis XVI taking refuge in the Assembly.

Hope this helps
