Sci-fi Creative Ideas!!

I have to do a sci-fi creative for my assessment, please help!

I don't really like sci-fi, so I'm struggling to come up with ideas.

Maybe you could extrapolate contemporary environmental concerns by creating a cyberpunk alterity similar to what the Kowloon Walled City looked like? It's a bit of a cliché idea but it's a decent plot device for a good soft sci-fi creative. Obviously you'd have to come up with an actual plot within this imagined world but it's a start lmao
