Hello everyone!
I really wish to get accepted into doctor of optometry once I finish my Biomed degree next year, but I’m not sure of the requirements and how high my wam has to be and if I need to do a lot of volunteering to be able to enrol. I would really really appreciate it if someone who has gone through this pathway and gotten accepted into could help me please!

I don't think you need any volunteering at all - they just look at your grades and GAMSAT. I'm not really sure what the cutoffs are, but if you're in biomed I can assume you got a pretty strong ATAR. If you achieved an ATAR of 98.00 or above, you'll eligible for a guaranteed pathway into the OD with a CSP (i.e. a government subsidised place). To get into this pathway you need a WAM of 75 when you apply, and you don't need to sit the GAMSAT.
