Does anyone have any resources or notes for film techniques used in Rear Window?

If you have your own copy of "Rear Window" on DVD the "Extras" section has interviews about the making of the film. It includes comments about the set, the sound, the use of vignettes, systematic lighting scheme as well as the lighting for Jeffries' self defence using the flash bulbs.

Hi!
Not sure if you've already seen these:
Rear Window Study Guide
Rear Window Film Techniques for students
Rear Window essay breakdown

We're also in the middle of writing up 10-20 essay prompts for Rear Window (coming out July/August) =]

P.S on a semi-unrelated note SNL did a skit on Rear Window you might enjoy!

I hope that's a good starting place for you!
