Dunno about any formulae...

But here's what I've got... ;)

Q2 D
Well, using the +400, over 8000, times 100, we get 5%

Q3 D


Q4 C & E
c.) percentage =
300/2400 => 1/8 *100 => 12.5%


e.) As, according to a.), the computer was priced at 2400 new...
the half price is 1200.

1200/300=4, so the answer is in four years.
