I don't need an ATAR so do I still need 10units?

Basically the title. Also since I'm no longer going for an ATAR will my grades still affect  my classmates? Thanks in advance c:
Also I'm trying to get into TAFE for Diploma of Nursing. The req to get in basically says a yr12 certificate. Can I still get my yr12 certificate without doing 10units?
