Is a ban 6 / 90+ ATAR still viable?

So this will be my first post on ATARNotes! So first thing's first, we all know that trials are literally around the corner (or for some people, it's already here!) and of course, the stress and panic has well and truly settled in. I've only just received my assessment marks from last term today and some subjects were alright, some should be set on fire and then thrown into the ocean, never to be seen again. So  my overall performance throughout the year:
Drama: 93% (rank 3)
Visual Arts:92% (rank 2)
Biology:88% (rank 5)
Advanced English: 89% (rank 5)
Chemistry:70% (rank 16)
2 Unit Maths:62% (rank 21)
I just love how it progressively becomes lower HAHAHAHA  ;D Anyways- Maths and Chemistry I have consistently been under performing throughout the year- however, a lot of things have FINALLY CLICKED in my head and I finally understand what's going on.. If i manage to do really well in trials, do you think that a ban 6 / 90+ ATAR will still be viable?

Yeah, I definitely 90 is within reach for you! Just work hard and you'll reap the rewards. You haven't locked yourself out of any Band 6s at this point yet ;D
HSC 2018 (ATAR 96.35) - English Advanced (96) | Mathematics General (87) | Legal Studies (94) | Economics (89) | Industrial Technology (94)

It's absolutely still possible!
I've heard many stories of people who got 90+ ATARs with lower half yearly marks than that.
Especially if you're now getting things a lot better now. You'll be ready to go for the HSC for sure!
Just maintain those higher rankings and improve those lower ones a little (now that you're understanding the more) and you'll be good!  ;D
