Just curious if anyone has or is completing 4 first year subjects (e.g. first year Biol, Chem, Maths (so Calc and Linear Algebra) and Physics)?  What is the workload like, and how is the experience especially with three pracs?
Nothing worth having comes easy.

2016: Geography
2017: Literature, Mathematical Methods, Chemistry, Biology, Economics

Hey there,
4 subjects is usually the norm per semester, especially in first year. Don't be too stressed about workload, if you keep up with the work you'll be fine. I did Calc 2, biol, computing and chem for biosciences and the workload was fine for me, especially with a job and social life. If you're doing chem 1 or 2 and not chem for biosciences, workload will be manageable but if you do pick chem for biosciences be prepared to have a lot of content thrown at you but again still manageable. If you are doing physics fundamentals, I have heard that it is basically the whole of vce compressed into a semester and there is quite a bit of content but don't be put off by it haha. Pracs definitely add more hours to your course (usually 2-3 for each prac), so I would suggest putting pracs spread over two days if you want to reduce travel to uni but it depends on where you live. Hope this helps :)
