Okay, so I just want an explanation as to why M is 1/2(Q + R) if you can help, thanks a bunch

Isn't it just the midpoint of a line formula?


I mean, they've factored out the \(\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)\) and kinda combined the rest...

Yeah, can vouch. It essentially is literally because \(M\) is the midpoint of \(PQ\)
