It's been awhile since I uploaded another resources so here's another contemporary example in relation to China. (While it is a summary of what's been happening, Philip DeFranco also shows screenshots of their sources if you want to do further reading on this)

A few months ago, I added a link to an article on China and the Uighur people, but a few days ago I saw this post on Buzzfeed International. I just found it interesting that it has turned into a hashtag. Perhaps we could use this as an example to talk about the use of technology, but also how power and authority has almost become one and the same in China (remember, there's a difference between these two concepts!).
