Time Off Before Exams

Good day fellow VCE students.
I have always been a student who is more efficient at home,i get the highest marks in many subjects in year 12, yet have the lowest attendance! This term, my late rate is 100%!

Im praying to get at least 2 weeks off from school prior to the exams, this is a common norm in my school but apparently will change this year, however I may be able to protest against it. In your school do you also receive time off before exams?

I heard the VCAA policy is a minimum attendance of 50 hours which I have completed, yet the school still threatens to give me an N if I dont attend everyday during revision period, and an N for lateness. Is there anyway I can refute this? I wish to study from home and ace the Exams, only attending school when I find need, thank you for your time.
