The multi choice was honestly a breeze up to about Q18, honestly you just needed good algebra skills to do well. I don't really get what people mean when they say it was unconventional questions. I would've thought maths was maths and it didn't have its own style o.0
Not everyone is as smart as you then, and it's not good to boast if you found it easy

They felt, and probably were, quite different to the ones in previous years as a whole. They twisted some questions up like transformations, etc. Of course it's maths, though, but they have a style of questions and today it changed relatively significantly.

Given this thread is about discussing the exam i'd say it's perfectly fine to describe one's opinion on the difficulty of the exam. In my opinion the multiple choice was indeed pretty standard up till 18. You have your typical domain and range questions, tangent line questions, period questions, transformations, find integral for an area questions etc. Probability was notably weak on MC. I'd highly advise any future students to pay attention to questions that tend to reoccur. A lot of MC questions are pretty predictable if you do the questions from the last few VCAA exams.
Short answer was great too. Good mix of easy, difficult and challenging questions.

orry to bother everyone and I hope exams are going well but was just wondering as to what these 3 secarios would amount too given this years methods exam/s.

Sacs 75% Rank 25/70 in a decent cohort in which sacs should scale up in all scenarios.

Exam 1 - 16/40 Exam 2 - 40/80

Exam 1 - 19/40 Exam 2 - 50/80

Exam 1 - 23/40 Exam 2 - 56/80

Thankyou very much

Can you please stop quoting my post for no reason? Honestly I made a fair point when i said that True Dat shouldn't boast if he found it easy when there would be others (including myself) who found this exam harder than usual. Also when you said that alot of the mc questions are predictable from past papers, this exam was alot harder, and i've done quite a few vcaa exam 2's and the mcq's were a lot more demanding and different to the past years vcaa exam 2's.
I'm not trying to attack you, but please stop unnecessarily quoting my post and trying to force your opinion.
Thanks

Second chance:

This is a clear instruction not to post study score predictions in this thread. This thread is for exam discussion, not study score prediction. The cryptically titled "study score prediction thread" will serve that purpose.

You've been given the instruction twice now. Do not post study score predictions here.
