Ansewering the last questions on chem exam

Hello everyone.
I have a lot of trouble answering certain types of questions in chem exams. e.g. Q9 and Q10 for 2017, Q11 for 2016. Q8 for 2018 (NHT) etc.
Does anyone have a formula/technique for answering these veeerrry long analysis type questions?

Thanks.

Questions like these are written specifically so there is not formula/technique/cheat that you can study before the exam and then go on to ace. These questions separate individuals who simply learn the content and those who actually thoroughly understand the content and can apply it to new and unfamiliar scenarios. By definition such separator questions are aimed at only being answerable by a small percentage of exam takers.

Okay that makes sense. However, do they give marks for answers other than what's on the assessors report? I sometimes write answers that seem valid but aren't on there.
