i just read some posts on using 'key players' as a way to structure a language analysis response for the english exam (section c) - ahhhh why did i not see this earlier?! i just wanted to do a little practice to make sure i have the whole concept down pact before next wednesday (haha. kms.) the articles above are the ones we had to do for a sac in school, and i've tried to identify the key players and how i would structure the arguments below:

1. survivors of sexual harassment
2. men in general (??)
3. women in general (??)
or i would group number 2 and 3 and make it the public of Australia/USA in general, but my teacher has told me to never mention 'the general public' as it is too vague...
3. the government bodies that can change laws

would these be the main players you would focus on? i'd love to know how you would approach these articles!

Hey,
I'm not 100% familiar with the key player way but I've definitely read of those post you're referring to! From my knowledge, I don't think VCAA would give two pieces of those lengths together. Also note that you don't have to compare for Wednesday's exam, only in SACS you are required to!
The way I go about approaching my piece is that:
- Find their contention and intention
- I find the main arguments --> Then I begin each of my paragraph with outlining the argument
-I find quotes and pieces that support / help the author's main arguments --> I analyse them and link it back to the contention
- Then I do the second piece which is usually shorter
or alternatively you could group them together by argument like you said
Graduated in 2018. Top 5%.
