Mechanical pencil clicking

Hi there.
I am going to use a mechanical pencil in my exams but I'm worried about the clicking sound it makes when I need to replenish lead. Am I at risk of being told off during exams due to this?
Thanks.

As long as you aren't playing around with it you'll be fine
