SciFi Creatives

I haven't seen too many Sci-Fi creative exemplars, or many SF creatives at all tbh.
So I thought I'd start the SF gang with a place to ask about our own and such.
I'll start us off :)

If anyone could help a girl out with advice, it would be much appreciated!

I'm really struggling with SF creatives, and like you I can't find anything much anywhere!
I've attached an assessment from ages ago, and is the only decent bit of SF I've ever written (decent in my mind at least, please tell me how I can improve it and make it more flexible!!!)
SF really isn't my thing and so I really struggle to write it, especially in a way that 'demonstrates my understanding of the genre'
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
