So when we finally completed exam 1, do people actually during the exams write their answers somewhere (or circle) on the paper so they can take it back home and discuss/assess their answers here? I found it not worth it but I want to do it find out what I got asap. So should I or we?

I'll be crossing out all the wrong options before shading the correct bubble, so I'll effectively be making another copy anyway.

Chances are you'll remember what you picked afterwards when you have a look at it so it's not super important to make another copy during the exam. I'd recommend crossing out wrong answers anyway though as a way to double check your answers as you go.

Pretty sure you get to keep your copy of the Exam 1 Question booklet usually, especially if you ask nicely. (Or maybe my Further teacher was just really awesome and let me keep my question booklet way back when?)
