Did anyone find today's exam hard or was it just me?

Seriously, all the past methods exam 1's were way easier than today's clusterfuck. Also, did anyone y = -x for the tangent equation, and pi for both the "odd" and "even" area questions? Could I get a method mark in the 3 mark question where we had to find the area of k if i just stated the definite integral with the limits and let it equal whatever the value of A was? (I wasn't able to find the integral). And for the question where we hand to find the value of k for one intersection or whatever, since it was 2 marks, would I get a method mark for stating "let discriminant = 0 for one solution"? And did anyone get a = 0 for the transformation matrix question? (would appreciate if people didn't direct me to the exam discussion board, I really don't want to look at the solutions). Does anyone think there's a chance for a+ cutoff to be around 32/40? Good luck for tomorrow's exam 2.

It was very difficult. I did plenty of practice for exam 1 obviously, and usually got high 80s to low 90s every time. This exam was on a whole different level; I found the questions that stumped last year's students pretty easy (the tangent one in particular was just equating 2 tangents...), but this year's were insane, such as finding really long winded integrals that probably had some easier way, or finding solution equations rather than exact values. I also lost 2 marks from really simple mistakes
