During the exam today i forgot to shade the box for what revolution i am doing. Will this affect my grade? Will the markers simply discount that section?

Nah, heaps of people forget to shade the box of the revolution they're doing. That section will still be marked! The marker should pick up on which revolution you're doing pretty quickly.
