This forum has really helped! Would you mind detailing // telling a little more about your story - like a summary?? It sounds really interesting, and I am looking at including extracts of poetry in my work (hopefully it will be done tonight) :o ;D - I'll be sure to upload it to the notes section when everything's completed!!

Hey, elania2171!
Welcome to the forums! It's always great to hear that we're helping out :D My short story for Ext 1 had a very simple premise. I told it from the perspective of a young man employed as a train pusher at Shinjuku Station in 1970's Japan. I amplified the environment as a place of stasis and lacking of human connection because of the socio-economic conditions surrounding postwar life. There is an overarching irony in that Naoki, whose job requires him to literally touch and feel people, never finds anyone he connects with and essentially gives up on hope for it. I had the story end with him just heading back to his job and dismissing all his loneliness as a passing thought. That's the best overview I could give of the piece :)
I'm hoping the poetry works out for you the way it did for me :D We'd love more Ext 1 notes, especially for Literary Worlds, so that would be fantastic 8) Good luck with the module and Ext 1!
Angelina ;D
