MMI for medicine at unimelb

I was lucky enough to get a chancellors scholarship and have chosen to do science. I just have a few qs about the requirements into the md program if I choose to go down that path in the future. I just recently learnt that the interview component of the application process got scaled up in weighting so I was wondering if this means that the mmi is now harder to pass? Also it was indicated that for the guaranteed pathway, students must pass any subject course prerequisites on the first attempt, so im assuming this doesn't include breadths (im keen to be a bit experimental with the breadth subjects i choose)? I'm not sure about the breadth path of this, but I imagine that's the case. If you're genuinely willing to get out there and try out breadths in areas you're not super comfortable in and are a chancellor's, I really don't think you should be worried about passing though—you'll be fine.
The MMI, to my knowledge, won't have been made any more difficult. They've played around with it a little bit this year, but for the most part it's exactly as it has been for a while now.

The pass hurdle for prerequisite subjects won't affect your breadth subjects at all. Similarly, the change in interview weighting only affects GEMSAS applicants.
