How will you or did you for past students go about tackling the english exam?

Personally i will most likely for text, context then analysis. I think that's the safest route.

what about you p-dawg?  :coolsmiley:

I tend to do C then A then B, mainly because I tend to take the least on C, so I do it first to gauge how much time I have remaining to transfer over to the other two, and also because it's fresh in my head etc as others have mentioned. Then I do A next because that's the one I have to ensure I fit all my points in for, so if I do happen to go massively overtime (i.e. use up my hour PLUS any additional time I gained from finishing C early), then I can just write less in context since getting in all my points isn't as vital as it is in A (in my opinion anyway). But of course, this plan is according to the strategies and lengths I wrote at, which obviously will vary between people.

C, A, B too. Language analysis first since you have articles and what not to read during reading time - and yeah if you pick out all the techniques and stuff you'll save a bit of time. A is second because I don't like rushing myself for quotes and ideas. Context, B, was just easier to "rush" at the end for me because I could regurgitate some of the ideas from practice papers.

In terms of marks A > C or B ... My middle one did the best and the other two ended up the same (source: statement of marks).

C, A, B.

Reading time for reading the articles, seems kind of cute when you put it like that.
