ways to memorise the solubility table?

(1/1)

szetotess:
hi all,

i wanted to ask what are some quick tips or tricks to learn the solubility rules and their exceptions...?

fun_jirachi:
The quickest way is probably using acronyms that stand for the soluble/insoluble ions, then a separate acronym for the few exceptions. For example, for solubility, a common one I know is SNAAP - Sulfate Nitrate Acetate Ammonium Potassium (Group 1). Mostly, do what works for you; you could try spinning in a chair and reciting it to yourself over and over (works for a friend of mine apparently) amongst other things. There are many ways to do it :)

This was really good for me back in year 11.  Pretty sure I still remember this haha.
