Hallo!!

Just a quick update on how revision is going: I have a grand total of 12 activities to go on Goethe-Institut! I'm hoping to finish by Friday night as I have a very busy week this week. I'm planning on doing a few textbook activities over the weekend so that should get me up to scratch with my grammar.

It's also O-Week at UNSW this week and while volunteering with Student Life & Communities (come to our stall across from Boost if you can lol) I met a few exchange students, and one of them was German!! That was cool, we spoke a bit about exchange and places to go in our respective cities. I really need to be braver when approaching native Germans so I can have some speaking practice. Whenever I find out someone is from Germany idk what happens but no German words are floating in my head so I can't say anything in German lol. It's happened once before at work when a German family came in and I just kept speaking English.

Before I forget, I also bought a daily German calendar the other day. And the best part: it was on sale!!!!!!! I was running errands at Officeworks when I saw it. It's pretty awesome because it has one German phrase each day, like things you can say in a conversation or some sayings. The best part is ripping off the previous day's page to see what's the phrase of the day! Today's one is "Ich habe eine Bitte", which means "I have a request". Seems somewhat useful lol so I'm keeping all the pages for future reference.

That's all from me this time round. Here are my goals:
- Finish all revision I assigned myself.
- The next time I approach a native German speaker (or someone who can speak German), say something simple in German that will initiate a conversation!!!!!!!

Bis später,
