UPGRADE MY ANSWER

What is this thread for?
If you want feedback on your answers so you can get more marks for your knowledge, this is the place!

Step 1. Share a question you didn't get full marks on, including your answer and how many marks the question was worth
Step 2. Wait for another user (maybe even multiple!) to provide feedback on how they might've approached the question and how you could improve your answer

Please don't be dissuaded if you haven't finished Year 12, or didn't score as highly as others, or your advice contradicts something else you've seen on this thread, or whatever; none of this disqualifies you from helping others. And if you're worried you do have some sort of misconception, put it out there and someone else can clarify and modify your understanding! 

There'll be a whole bunch of other high-scoring students with their own wealths of wisdom to share with you, including TuteSmart tutors! So you may even get multiple answers from different people offering their insights - very cool.

This was from Question 9 of the 2018 TSSM trial exam:

  -- Building block: alpha-glucose molecules
  -- Bonding: ether bonding (glycosidic linkage), dispersion forces
  -- Solubility: more soluble in comparison to amylose
  -- Digestion: easier to digest than amylose due to branching

I got 3 marks out of 4 for this question. Don't think it's because I wrote it in dot-point form rather than as a full paragraph but I'm not sure what I could've missed. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Maybe elaborate on solubility? The question says describe and you've just stated it is more soluble ;not why it is relatively soluble... presence of hydroxyl groups on the outer perimeter of the polymer enables hydrogen bonds with water and combined with the branched nature, has weakened dispersion forces thereby making it more soluble.  ?  I believe you just need more chemistry jargon/ keywords as it asks for chemical features. e.g the types of bonds ( hydrogen, dispersion, dipole...), functional groups that cause the property and even polarity.
I can't think of much else tbh ??? :P Hopefully this helps!

I would include why branching improves ease of digestion by referring to enzymes having increased access
