i'm just wondering, would i be able to obtain a 40+ study score in pysch
if my sac marks are A+ (lost 4-5 marks whole year)
and i got a B+ for mid years
and planning to get a low-mid A+ for end of year exams?

thankks :)

hmmph. i was wondering the same thing a few months back

SACS HIGH B+
EXAM 1 - HIGH B
EXAM 2 - HIGH A+ will only get a 34-37

so in your circumstances i believe a 39 or 40 is achievable if you get a high A+

don't trust me though. i dont trust myself.

if your B+ was high, then you'd need quite a high A+ to get 40. as you need two low A+'s to get 40 but since you did well in your SACs.

to get 38+? you'd need a mid A, but depending on your A+ it could be mid-low A, or have to be mid-high A.

yeah im kinda the same. i know to get in the 40's or even just a 40 you have to get above A+ for everything.
im sitting on:
sac marks unit 3 - 89/100
exam mark unit 3 - B+
sac marks unit 4 - 88/100
exam mark unit 4 - hoping a B+ again.

would that be low to mid 30's as a study score? cos i know my exam marks will drag down my sac marks :( hate the way vce works!!!!!

yeah i'd say it'd be around mid 30's. but it depends how high your B+ was for the exams

What would I need in this exam to get over 40?

SAC marks: All A+, lost about 7 marks throughout the whole unit.
Mid year: A+

Was your midyear mark low, medium or high? (estimate?). It kind of depends.

yeah depends on whether your A+ for mid years was high, low or medium
but if you get A+ for this exam i'm sure you'll get a 40
as i heard you need A+ for everything to get 40

Yeah it's possible to get a 40 with A+ A+ A if it is a high A and the other A+s are medium to high

so would 90-93% be considered a low A+?

so would 90-93% be considered a low A+?

79/90 was A+ cutoff this year.
so around 87~90% was low A+
then around 93~95% was mid A+

and to get 40, it is just three low A+'s (usually)

Well, that give you 81-83/90. Considering to get an A+ for the midyear you needed a 79, yeah, I would classify 79-82 as low, 83-85 as medium and 86-90 as high (ish). I don't know exactly though... I'm sure some people would disagree.
