Trying to do an essay on the following question:
Drawing from the above extract, and also the stories written by Henry Lawson that you have studied throughout Module A: Language, Identity and Culture, discuss how a composer constructs texts that represent and affect individual and collective identity.

I am using the The Drover’s Wife, The Union Buries its dead as my two short stories

This is my thesis statement:

Henry Lawson uses highly sophisticated structural language features in his short stories to represent and affect individual and collective identity. Lawsons chosen themes and techniques also affect individual and collective identity which is evident in the Drovers Wife and The Union Buries its dead.
