Ah yes, sorry about that :)
Here is a website that has science and maths textbooks (jacaranda) from years 7 - 10.

Hi I’m new to Atar notes and I’m trying out for jmss next year(lol I screwed up the shs test two weeks ago); and I’m just wondering about jmss. So hopefully somebody can answer these :)
1. Can you still do well in vce humanity subjects if u go to jmss?
-I’m really passionate about science and math but I still wish to do one or two commence subject in vce (since I want to do that in uni); so if I get into jmss, is there still a chance for me to get a 42+ in subject like economics? (I mean I’m totally fine without doing that though)
2. Can tuition help you with the entrance test?
-Lol I didn’t go to tuition for shs test and I screwed up on the actually exam-I studied hard for 3 months especially I studied 6 hours a day for the last month. But anyways, did the tuition help if you have the basic knowledge and needs a lot of practice questions? Btw, which tuition did u guys suggests the most for the jmss test(e.g. James an, Hendersons, QS...)
Sorry for my terrible grammar and the things I say probably wouldn’t make a lot of sense:(
But thanks for reading :) and please don’t sink this forum
Hi im jeff:
I just did the exam last week so I dont really know about your first question.
For your second question I did do private tuition and I felt it really helped me.
Just before the exam I recommend you do a hendersons mock exam because they give a good idea of what the exam is like for the Jmss exam. Dont do it for the shs exam because it is complete shite when it comes to selective school.

for your 1st question idrk BUT for the second one,
I went to JAC this year to prepare for the jmss exam for year 10 2020, uhhhhh, I think in JAC, science rly helps you excel in your knowledge, ( we did a different topics every week, some on it was in the actl test ), For maths, JAC maths r lowkey too complicated for a year 9 standard in my opinion, BUT do not worry, THE TEST IS WAYYYYYY WAYYYYY WAYYYY easier than JAC tests ( if u get 80%+ in JAC youll flyyyy through the test ). Overall, I do recommend going to tutoring (since it rly helped me) but either way, you can get in without it.

Thanks for your reply and it’s good to know that Hendersons’ mock exam are helpful for jmss (Yea completely agree with what u said coz they made the shs math ones too simple); and btw, are the math questions in jmss test easier than the ones in selectives?
