(1/1)
Lil_2Percent_Kev:
Hey guys, I'm writing my DS right now and I wanted to know the recommended amount of questions and the word count. I've been told 10k words should be my minimum but I feel that's a bit overkill for SL. Any thoughts, suggestion, etc?
Thanks guys <3

There is no recommended number of questions for the DS -- ideally, you'll want to have as many questions as possible as you never know what the examiners could ask you on the day. So you just have to brainstorm as many potential questions as you possibly can. Many people prepare 50 questions minimum in total.
It may seem like overkill, but unless you're ridiculously confident in your speaking and improvising abilities, more preparation won't hurt.
As for the word count, again there is no set amount, but for each question you should be speaking for roughly 30+ seconds so that's how long your response should be.
