VCE English vs EAL

Hi guys, I am in Yr 11 and was thinking of choosing EAL over normal English in Yr 12. When I went through university prerequisites, it said that they need 30 for English and 35 for EAL. I just wanted to know if it is easier to get a raw score of 30 in english or 35 in EAL?
