Bio is quite content heavy, but the textbook definitely has more information than you need!

What are you finding interesting?

I have just started Year 11. We are currently in Week 2 and I already have so much work to do. I am incredibly stressed and the term has barely begun. I will probably be pulling an all nighter. RIP me  :-[

Hey,

Hope things ease up for you soon. I understand why you would pull an all-nighter but unless you absolutely must get the work done tonight I recommend you get some sleep instead. People work, learn, and remember better when they aren't sleep deprived + being rested makes it easier to have self-discipline.

Good luck!

Hi All,

A question for the moderators.

If someone fails an assignment, does that mean that they can't achieve a QCE at the end of year 12?

Kind Regards

Hi JerryMouse

Not a moderator, but after hopping onto the QCAA website, it seems that you need 20 credits to obtain a QCE. General subjects are usually one credit per unit with the requirement of passing both units 3 and 4 to obtain any credits. In your situation, you could obtain 24 credits in total by passing your 6 general subjects. Hypothetically, you would be able to fail 4 entire units (not that you would want to :o) while still being eligible for a QCE. Also, one unit could be made up of multiple assessment pieces, so no, your QCE wouldn’t be in jeopardy if you happened to fail one assignment.

Hope I could help and if I've gotten anything wrong, someone please call me out on it :)
