Make an IRC guide

Yes I know there's a stickied thread somewhere but:
There are a lot of people (like me) who have never used IRC before FSN. And after 2-3 months I am still learning new things and not using it to its full potential etc.

So it would include things like:
- What the hell is this IRC you speak of? Why don't we just use MSN?
- Options re chat button or downloading your own client
---How to connect to the server, set up your name etc from your own client. Oh and how to make it so that IRC notifies you when someone says your name.
- Nicknames, how to register a nick, why you would want to register a nick, how to kick off someone using your nick especially when you disconnected and your username is still being used up
- Servers and channels - what are they, how to join a new channel etc
- General commands eg change nick, slapping people, changing the topic of a channel etc.
- What admin/op/half op/voice means

Probably a lot more stuff but that was all in my learning curve and I still don't know all of that, hence I would not be suited to writing said guide xD

for self-learners, i would suggest you download chatzilla on firefox, it is fairly user friendly, and has an awesome function "\help" where you can learn your commands (and join myself + caramel lol)
