Hey Guys, for chemistry is it ok to draw the bonds of the structural formula of a molecule at right angles or do you have to draw them bent because I heard that you will lose marks if all the bonds are at right angles to each other.

I think it's safer to draw bonds bent. You really don't want to lose silly marks in the exam!
somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.

I'm confident it is completely acceptable to draw the bonds at right angles (sources: jacaranda textbook, heinemann textbook, past exams, VCAA examiner reports).

What you absolutely must not forget to do is to write the Hs for the hydrogen bonds, not just leave them as dashes.

Again, if you really want to be safe, feel free to make the bonds bent.
