Hi :)

I have chosen my Semester 1 subjects...
MIND, BRAIN BEHAVIOUR 1
LANGUAGE
WELLBEING, MOTIVATION AND PERFORMANCE
INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION

And for Semester 2...
MIND, BRAIN BEHAVIOUR 2
THE SECRET LIFE OF LANGUAGE
DRAWING, PAINTING AND SENSORY KNOWING

but i have absolutely no idea what to do for my last subject :/ lucky it is in semester 2 so i dont have to make a decision right now, but i the subjects available in semester 2 are not going to change and i am not really keen on any of them. Should i pick up a language even though i only know English? How would you guys solve this?

Thanks :)

What degree are you studying (it looks like arts but I want to make sure)? What are you planning on doing for breadth?

Something to note about languages is that for some of them, the most basic level (e.g. French 1) may not be offered in semester 2. A language is a good idea, I would have loved to learn a language during my undergraduate (French, Spanish, Japanese, German, Chinese) are some of the common languages people choose to learn. If you are studying Arts, you will need to make sure that it fits within your course (except Chinese, Indonesian and Japanese, which can be counted as breadth)

Have you considered maybe doing a winter subject and only doing 3 subjects in semester 2?

Hi,

Yes I am doing arts. Yeah, I just had a look and realised no "beginner" language subjects are offered in S2. I will defintely look into doing a winter subject, now that you mention it :)
Thank you.
