simply not reading the question. bring a highlighter in and do not skim read in reading time. if you skim read your brain thinks it already knows the question and you don't read it in depth when you come around next leaving out important details.

I feel exactly the same way.
Thats how i lost my mark for Exam 1 :(

yupp! and for me, not knowing what to do in the last question of trig&geo (the volume one) so just writing down a heap of bull until i ended up with 60%. and that was wronnng

i'm sure it's going to be a hugely common mistake not realizing that the Pearsons Correlation (r) was a negative. expect that to make an appearance somewhere in next years paper
