History was by far my favourite subject. Although it was fairly disappointing due to the fact that I basically had a non-existant teacher. I managed a 42 raw with basically no teacher- it would have been interesting to see what I could have got if I had an awesome teacher.

That's awesome stuff. I was kinda the opposite... lol. My teacher (he wrote some american revolution book btw) fed us loads of information but I didn't realise it until the last 6 weeks and I realised it was too late. But yea, to anyone who is reading, make sure you keep up to date!

Did your sister go to my school (Caulfield GS)?

Wow, from everyone's responses it seems like he has a great reputation to say the least 0_0 I've only ever worked with him in debating

--- Quote from: coblin on January 24, 2008, 10:28:56 pm ---The constitution today still states that federal tax most be apportioned. This means that progressive taxation is illegal, but in America they ignore the constitution these days. Only a flat tax is justified.

I love the American Revolution, it is the first (and only, to date) major establishment of a libertarian society.

Spot on. The American Revolution was definitely my favourite. I found it fascinating to learn about how our current society is still essentially based upon the brave ideals of the American Revolutionaries.

Yeah our Constitution seems so uninspiring compared to the American Constitution + their declaration of independence. The writings of the founding fathers were awesome too.

ah! can I just say.. France notes.. I love you I love you! (not to be creepy) . I'm screwed for France-- I know it, but I feel like I dont and I feel really lost in it, compared to Russia, which was rather easy.
