Persuasive Writing

Hi there if there is anyone out there thats willing to help please let me know asap!!!
So in like 2 days, I have a persuasive writing task due for Mod C. The set question is "The craft of writing has lost its value in our modern world". I'm not sure how to answer this.. Does anyone have any idea how to respond to it or have a persuasive to this?

Hey!

I'm not as much of an English person as some others around here but my initial thoughts are:
- what's the "craft of writing?" Literature? Witty memes? Academic or business writing?
- what does "value" mean?  Being paid? Appreciation by the reader? Effort by the author?
- and then there's the "modern world" part which implies change from the past. 

Once you've broken the topic down, it's can be easier to think of potential arguments like "the immediacy of social media has resulted in the craft of writing being devalued" or "as technology becomes increasingly complex, the ability to craft clear and engaging writing has never been more valued"
