Chapter 9 inquiry

I have a sac coming up for chapter 9 but I am pretty behind, still doing chapter 4, I only have 2 weeks until the sac so I don't think I can catch up. Can I just do chapter 9 and return to chapter 5,6,7,8 after the sac?

Depends what your SAC is on. If it's on AOS 2, which chapter 9 is, then you could technically skip 4,5,6,7,8.
Since chapter 9 is on electrolysis, some knowledge from chapter 4 and 5 would be very useful. Skip 7 and 8 if it is not apart of your SAC, and focus on chapter 4 and 5, as it's gives some background knowledge that won't make it so confusing when you get there.

Hope this helps.

This helps a lot. It is on AOS2, outcome 2. Is chapter 6 relevant too?

OKay, well chapter 6 isn't apart of AOS 2, it is AOS 1.
So I wouldn't do that one.
If it is on AOS 2, then chapters 7 and 8 become relevant as well, as that is all on rate of reactions and equailibrium which are large parts of AOS 2. I would check with your teacher to double check on what part of AOS 2 do you need to know. If it is only electrolysis, great, then do chapter 9 (4 + 5 if you can, but don't do all of it, it's just a very good foundation). If it is on rates of reactions and equailibrium, then you would also need to do chapters 7 and 8. 7 is short but 8 is huge, so to reduce your stress, ask your teacher specifically on what the SAC will be all about. For time management I would nickpick at the basics in what is in chapter 4 and 5, as you may run out of time unless you are happy to do all of it.
